What do I wear to The Sauna Club?

We suggest wearing swimwear you feel comfortable in. It is easiest if you arrive already in your swimwear to make for a quick and smooth transition into your session but we do have 3 change rooms if you aren't able to.

Do you provide towels?

Yes, we provide 1 x towel per person per session.

Question 3

How many people are in a session at once?

Accepted Answer

The maximum group size is 10 people so you will never be in the club with more than 10 other people.

Can I book a private session for a group or event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer group bookings and can accommodate special events and activations. Please contact us at hello@thesaunaclub.com for details.

Are there any health conditions that might prevent me from using the sauna or ice bath?

Accepted Answer

Yes, certain health conditions such as heart problems, pregnancy, or severe skin conditions may require consultation with a healthcare provider before use. Please check with your doctor if you have any concerns.

Do you have showers?

Yes, we have an open shower within The Sauna Club to use between sauna and cold plunges and when finishing your session. There are also beach showers at the front if you prefer an outdoor rinse!

Where do I park?

There is free street parking all along The Esplanade, it can get busy so please make sure you leave enough time to find a car park before your session.

How long is a session?

Your session will go for 45 minutes where you can use the sauna, cold plunges and showers as much as you like.

Do you have change rooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have 3 change rooms within The Sauna Club, we do not offer ammenities such as hair dryers or straighteners. Due to our small space we ask people to be respectful with their time in the change rooms so others aren't waiting.

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have secure lockers you are welcome to use to store your belongings.

Is it safe for pregnant women?

Accepted Answer

For your safety and your baby's wellbeing, our sauna, steam room and hot spa are not suitable during pregnancy. These heat-based experiences can increase your core body temperature beyond the levels recommended during pregnancy. Our cold plunge is also not recommended, as exposure to very cold temperatures may stimulate uterine contractions.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes, you can put your membership on pause, just email hello@thesaunaclub.com.au with two weeks notice and we will arrange the pause.
